la_grange6.tabSong: La Grange
Artist: ZZ Top
Tabbed For: Electric Guitar
Tabbed By: Tim Fehr

Ok nobody in the world that I have found has tabbed this song before,
and now that I did I see why. Anyway, it took me almost three hours so
please don’t complain too loudly about all the errors’n’stuff k?

You’ll have to get the timing on your own cuz I really suck at writing it.
(the words start on the second round of riff 1)

You might give this intro a try:

-------------------------
-------------------------
--2-2-2-2-2----------5p2-
--2-2-2-2-2------5p2-2---
-0---------0-3p0-0-------
-------------------------
After the "Rumour spreading 'round, try :
-------------------------
-------------------------
--2-2-2-2-2---2-2-2.ect--
--2-2-2-2-2---2-2-2.ecr--
-0---------0-3-5-0-.ect--
-------------------------
Other than that the song sounds good.

Strat-man February 26, 2004, 8:16

No I'm not,I'm sorry to say, I started playing guitar in 1973 and I still play. Thankx for the compliment.

Strat-man February 26, 2004, 17:13

See my comments under Lynyrd Skynyrd (Sweet Home Alabama) & (That Smell) and Deep Purple (Smoke On The Water). I think you will enjoy reading them.

gruntfish March 18, 2004, 5:51

Try this for the clean intro, this is the way it's played on the album. (I know, cuz I seen Mr. Gibbons play it several times...)

strat-man sux
sorry i just felt like sayin that cuz he goes like ive been playin guitar since 1973 n i still play
yeah man thats why ur suggestions all suck
i just got pissed off when i read the cocky comments from strat-man thinkin he knows everythin when he doesnt so yeah bye

Strat-man July 31, 2006, 16:50

Hey bully,
For starters, I don't think I know everything, but I do like to share the things I have learned and my experiences from playing guitar over the past thirty years. Here is one thing I would like to share with you, if you get pissed off because someone knows more than you, than you might want to think about learning how to play the guitar and placing educational comments instead of comments that show everyone you can't play any instrument. When you can honestly say that you have thirty years playing guitar, then take a look back and see how your lack of education shows what an idiot you are!

edgar January 2, 2007, 9:11

RIGHT ON STRAT-MAN
I am tired of turkeys like this add B.s. comments to somebodies hard work

Little Dave March 5, 2007, 23:36

My hats off to anyone who takes the time to tab something for someone else's enjoyment. I would never be so egotistical as to say anyone else's efforts are sub-par. Rock on Strat-man.

DAWG1 June 6, 2007, 0:52

I AGREE WITH LITTLE DAVE, I LIKE DOWN LOADING TABS A RELAXING ON MY DAYS OFF PLAYING. IM NOT A PRO BUT I LIKE PLAYING ANF IF BULLY DOESNT HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO SAY HE NEEDS TO STAY OUT OF THE TAB WORLD, THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE ENTERESTED IS PLAYING.
