Here is as much as I've got for "Pinball Wizard" by the Who. This is played on
an acoustic (DUH). `e' stands for eighth notes, `s' for sixteenth, `q' for
quarter, `h' for half, and, yes, even `w' for whole notes. The rapid strumming
parts can be fairly improvised. The chords in the first 6 bars are strummed at
a speed so that you can almost hear each individual note. A slide is indicated
by a `/' for up and `\' for down. A period after a note value means dotted. The
chord parts are best played with your index finger on the B string, middle
on the G string (using pinky for pull-offs), and ring fringer on the D string,
with the thumb wrapping around and playing the low E string. Sounds hard, but
gets easier with practice.

Then, because I'm way too sick of doing this to elaborate any more, do the
verse section again, but move everything up 3 frets (i.e. add 3 to all of the
numbers). I can't yet play the bit at the end, but I'm trying. Anyway, that's
the song. I hope that somebody gets some kind of use out of it, or I'm really
stupid for wasting this much time and energy. But classes are over, so what do
I care? HA!

I agree, great tab. I'd mute out the A string on the bsus4 chord, 7x997, otherwise perfect.
