If this question is really stupid, sorry, I'm sort of a beginner. What is a "basic 3 chord blues progression in G?" I don't quite understand how to finger pick the chords. If someone could e-mail me back i would appreciate it. Thanks.

I've been playing for only three and a half months, but i think this is how teh picking goes:

For G its String 6, then string 2, then 6, then 3, and keep repeating

For C its String 5, then 1, then 5, then 2 and keep repeating

For D i think its string 4, then 1, then 4, then 2, and keep repeating
