Are You Sure Hank Done it This Way
Waylon Jennings
>From his Greatest Hits CD. (BMI)

This song is really simple to play. Only the "G" and "D" chords are in it.
To get the actual feel for the chord progression I'd recommend playing along
with the recording.

Intro- G D G D G D G D
                    G
Lord its the same ol tune
D
Fiddle and guitar
G D
Where do we take it from here?
D G
Rhinestone suits and new shiny cars
D G
Its been the same way for years
D g
We need a change

Somebody told me when I came to Nashville
Son, you've finally got it made
Ol Hank made it here
And we're all sure that you will
But I don't think Hank done it this way
Naw, I don't think Hank done this way
(instrumental)
Ten years on the road makin' one night stands
Speeding my young life away
Tell me one more time just so's I'll understand
Are you sure Hank done it this way?
Did ol Hank really do it this way?
(instrumental)
Lord I've see the world with a five-piece band
Looking at the backside of me
Singing my sings, one of his now and then
But I don't think Hank done 'em this way
No I don't think Hank done 'em this way
(instrumental)

i think it is played with E and A, not G and D.

Actually, it's B and E ... or A and D with a capo on 2 (as in the other tab here)
