This post didn't seem to make it out into the big wide world the first
tim I posted it due to the awful news server that my ISP has. It's been
offline for over a week now so I'm trying again.
These are the basic chords feel free to add to this. Any corrections
via the group please. I'm not sure if I got the lyrics exactly right on
the last line of the second verse
Performer: Tim McGraw
Album: Tim McGraw & The Dancehall Doctors (2002)
Who Are They
D A
D
They say not to have too much fun
A
They say not to get too much sun
D
Democrat, Republican
G A
I guess I'm screwed I'm neither one
D
Don't say hell, say what the heck
A
Do what's politically correct
D
Don't pray in school but have safe sex
G
Isn't that what they expect
Chorus:
D
Who are they
A
Yeah you know what they say
D
Who are they
G A
Someone I gotta pay
D
Who are they
G
They're probably living in LA
A
And I don't care anyway
D G D A D A
Who are they
They probably own the Village Boys
The Nashville Scene the People's Choice
To me it's all a bunch of noise decided on by money boys
They say who does and don't belong
They say our hair's to short or long
They say who's right and who is wrong
The simple all just come along
Chorus
I wonder if they've got a life
A broken car and two ex-wives
Do they drink beer on Friday night
I wonder if they like to fight
And I wonder if they've got a soul
Or if they like their rock and roll
Where do they live I've gotta know
So I can tell 'em where to go
Chorus
D A G
