TIM BUCKLEY
>Live on the Monkees TV show<
INTRO
E/D/A/E

Verse 1:

E B
Long afloat on shipless oceans
A G#m
I did all my best to smile
E B
'Til your singing eyes and fingers
A G#m
Drew me loving to your isle
E
And you sang
E7 A
Sail to me, sail to me
           E
Let me enfold you
G#m
Here I am
G#m
Here I am
B A E/D/A/E
waiting to hold you

Verse 2:

Did I dream you dreamed about me?
Were you hare when I was fox?
Now my foolish boat is leaning
Broken lovelorn on your rocks,
For you sing, "Touch me not, touch me not, come back tomorrow:
O my heart, O my heart shies from the sorrow"

Verse 3:

I am puzzled as the oyster
I'm as riddled at the tide
Should I stand amid your breakers?
Or should I lie with Death my bride?
Hear me sing, "Swim to me, Swim to me, Let me enfold you:
Here I am, Here I am, Waiting to hold you"

This file is all my own work!!!

There's been a few tabs out for this one, but all of them are off when
you play them against Buckley's live performance from the monkees tv
show.

Hope you get some use out of this one guys as there is no need for a
capo

I haven't got my guitar with me at the mo, so im doing this
from my memory, so there might be a few mistakes

Not sure on the correct name for the G#m chord, anyway it's the
Bm shape on the 4th fret

Any comments, corrections, or violent outbursts or email me at:
