How to read tabs?

I used a surround sound receiver where it only plays the guitars so I'm 90% 
sure it's perfectly right. 

WAIT!! 
PLEASE do not copy these tabs and add your own things, calling them your own. 
   If something is wrong with mine then you can retab it and put my name on 
it so they know I tabed it too or something. 
I tabbed it not you. 

.=palm mute   h=hammer on    p=pull off      >=strum     ...=let ring

(#x)= how many times you play that section      ()=what you do next before whats
                                                   tabbed next
