i think you should shift all chords one semitone down!

This is as close as I have seen until now I think... very good!
You're trying to play this using "easy" chords. SmashMouth likes to use some "odd" chords...even ones that they "make up" themselves, so to speak, by slightly changing finger position to give an off - key sound. Hang in there....
