I sure was happy to see this tab. The other 2 you find are not very good. If you ever watch the HBO concert you can clearly see Keith is capoed at the 7th fret. I hope this tabber can tab out a little more of this song. The "dont do that" part sounds on. Thanks

maby im stupid but i cant get the song to sound rite

Drew Pache November 11, 2003, 2:55

How can you play on the 7 fret if the capo is there? If you count 7 up from th capo it sounds terrible. Whats going on?

michael November 17, 2003, 23:22

ok very simple

the 7's are played open
the 9's are plaed on the 2nd fret
the H's are played on the 3rd fret
the X's are played on the 4th fret

WITH THE CAPO!!!!!! on the 7th freat!!!!!
mes with it and youll get it

Hey, I been working on this song, since the four flicks dvd came out, this tune demands respect! it is a tour de force of licks and energy. the keith part is IMPOSSIBLE to play correctly without a(7th fret) capo, and he throws in tons of licks that are tricky to cop, you really have to watch tuning and intonation as well. T.

OK, now is Micks harmonica in B? This one needs a harp!

Tim September 5, 2005, 7:22

I think since the song is in B, mick would be playing an Eb harmonica? Not sure. That would be my educated guess though.

Tim September 5, 2005, 7:23

My bad, I meant a D harmonica. I'm pretty sure its a D harp....

So simple. You could keep 7 barred throughout. Of course your wrist may need medical care thereafter. Use the business, ring and pinky for the fill in rythm and solo adds. Use a low cost Fender Strat keep it always tuned in G. Play this under that setup and actually use low E 7 and 9 as a 5th. In the vocal verse "Can't do that use the barred 14th and 16 frets to mimic the vocals. Solo between the upper frets and first verse freats for full effect. Richards is genius.......
