Here's a pretty simplified version of Rev. Gary Davis' 
"Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning"
as played by Jorma Kaukonen on the album "Splashdown". 
This is my first TAB, so please excuse the rhythmic
anomalies, but you should be able to pick up the tune 
with the TAB and a good ear.
Notice the three types of basslines - monotonic, alternating and 
"cut time" (thumb strokes on beats 1 and 3). 
   
notation key -
  / = slide
  ~ = hammer on
  p = pull off
  b(n) = bend or release bend
  w = whammy bend
