if its in standard, why are the strings a half step down?

Yeah, this song is correct, if it's played in Standard E form.

Hey billabong, theses are half a step down because if you were to play it live you would get a better sound playing it a half step down for a louder sound. the drums are too loud and the guitar playing with the drums wouldn't sound right
