PUDDLE OF MUDD- DRIFT AND DIE

This song is sooo easy, its just like the other tabs have it, as far as the intro.
And the rest is ALL triads.
It may not be exactly right, but its gotta be damn close!
I’ve only been playing for about one year, so if you know a better way, please let me know.
Any other Puddle of Mudd songs are welcome!
I want to learn all of them!
Enjoy!

Tune all strings down ½ step...

Chords used: Dm: 000231, Dsus2: 000230, Cadd9: 032030, G: 320030

The bridge and chorus are triads but I dont have the foggiest idea what they are called, but its easy.

INTRO:

        Dm Dsus2 Dm Dsus2 Cadd9 G Cadd9 G
e-------1---------0-------1-------0----------0------0-------0-------0-------]
b-------3---------3-------3-------3----------3------3-------3-------3-------]
g-------2---------2-------2-------2----------0------0-------0-------0-------] REPEAT UNTIL BRIDGE
d-------x---------x-------x-------x----------2------0-------2-------0-------]
a-------x-------- x-------x-------x----------3------2-------3-------2-------]
e-------x---------x-------x-------x----------0------3-------0-------3-------]

BRIDGE

e---x-----x-----x----x----x----]
b---x-----x-----x----x----x----]
g---7-----5-----x----x----x----] REPEAT
d---7-----5-----5----3/---5----]
a---5-----3-----5----3/---5----]
e---x-----x-----3----1/---3----]

CHORUS IS SAME AS BRIDGE, JUST DIFFERENT STRUM PATTERN

THEN THERE IS A LITTLE CHANGE UP, IT GOES LIKE THIS:

e---x---x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x-----]
b---x---x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x----x-----]
g---7---5----7----x----5----x----5----7----5----7----5----x----x----x-----]
d---7---5----7----5----5----5----5----7----5----7----5----5----3/---5-----]
a---5---3----5----5----3----5----3----5----3----5----3----5----3/---5-----]
e---x---x----x----3----x----3----x----x----x----x----x----3----1/---3-----]

The rest is self explanatory. Its the same triads, just different triads and strum patterns.
Once you get used to the chords it will come naturally.

BAD ASS SONG THERE!!!

Y'know...it would help me a WHOLE lot if I knew how to tune like that...

baz June 11, 2003, 15:45

to tune it half a step down to Eb or D# tuning instead of tuning the top E to the fifth fret tune it to the sixth fret and work your way down the strings and the G will be tuned on the 5th instead of the fourth

baz is right but simpler terms (I am only twelve but)if you put a capo on the first fret and then do reguilar tuning./thats only if you want to play along with the song other wyse anything would work.
