This is my first tab so I hope it's comprehensible. On the original Andy summers uses a certain amount of delay, chorus and reverb to achieve the sound. Each note is also cut short to achieve the stacatto affect. Isn't this palm-muted, and I don't think it's played in a bar chord at any stage. How old are you?
Ignore AJ. The chords are right and it doesn't have to be palm muted. It's recommended you tune the D string up to E and play it as a standard bar chord. If you do this then keep your bottom notes all on the E string.

this tab is perfect ignore 'AJ'palm muted is better on electric but on acoustic i prefer open it sounds real nice. awesome song great tab good job!
