For all the mystery and tension in this tune, it's very simple. When I play it 
on keyboards I keep a low "D" epressed throughout the song. (Actually I put a 
role of pennies on the key). I actually play the keyboard and guitar lines at 
the same time using a volume pedal on my guitar.

The main Dm chord progression doesn't change throughout the song. Pick it up a 
little when the drums come in and go crazy.
