How to read tabs?

im not going to show the finger picking pattern because if 
you cant figure that out on your own than you probably won't
be able to finger it any ways. These are just the general notes that

Those are all the parts of the song, just listen to it and it should

pretty easy. Keep in mind that the intro riff is played other times in

what kind of bullshit is that: "I'm not going to show the finger picking pattern because if you can't figure that out on your own then you probably won't be able to finger it anyway?" why would you even say that? i could probably figure out the general notes on my own. the whole point of tabs are to learn things you can't figure out; like the subtleties of a song. So, if you're such a guitar prodigy, why are you writing partial tabs?

this tab is so wrong, i watched billy play it live, it is a one cord slid up and down the neck for the intro. not sure what the name is but a g shape except one string down
