WAVE ON WAVE BY PAT GREEN

This is my first attempt at tabbing a song so it might be a bit odd
compared to more experienced people's tabs.

The chords you need for this song are:
D: 2   Dsus2: 0    Dsus4: 3     Gsus4:  3     G:  3     G?:   5
    3              3                3                 3
0             3
    2              2                2                 0
0             0
    0              0                0                 0
0             0
    x              x                x                 2
2             2
    x              x                x                 3
3             3

A: 0   Asus2: 0    Asus4: 0
   2          0           3
   2          2           2
   2          2           2

And put it together like this:
       D       Dsus4  Dsus2  D
...direction.
      Gsus4   G   G?   Gsus4
...game.
        A        Asus4  Asus2   A
...redemption.
      D        Dsus4   Dsus2  D
...name.
      D        Dsus4   Dsus2  D
...pretending.
      Gsus4     G   G?   Gsus4
...truth.
     A      Asus4   Asus2 A
...ending.
     D      Dsus4   Dsus2   D
...you.
Repeat this pattern throughout the rest of the verses and the
chorus. Then go and impress your friends.

Hey Joe,
I haven't been playing this song very long, isn't their some sort of picking in the begining of the song. Sounds kind of like this:

-------------------------
-7-7-7-5-5-5-8-8-8-7-7-7-
--7-----7-----7-----7----
-------------------------
-------------------------
-------------------------

-------------------------
-8-8-8-7-7-7-10-10-10----
--7-----7------7---------
-------------------------
-------------------------
-------------------------

----------------------------
-7-7-7-5-5-5-8-8-8-5-5-5--7-
--6-----6-----6-----6-----7-
----------------------------
----------------------------
----------------------------
If I am incorrect please let me know because my band wants to do this song and I don't want to sound like an ass!
