Song: Green Grass and High Tides Forever
Artist:Outlaws
Tabbed by Howard F. fornrml420@aol.com
About 22 years ago I was in a garage band and I "fingered" out this song, I
just never wrote it down. So after procrastinating for about a year now, I
finally did it. Hope you like it. You will have to listen to the song and get
the tempo right. Take your time and it will fall right into place. Remember,
this song is 9 min. and some change long and this is the intro. The rest is
just deviations from the above and a lot of hard practice. Please send me any
comments and/or suggestions. This is the only interpretation that I am aware
of and I'm proud to have the first. I hope you enjoy and have fun. Support

Great someone still appreciate The Outlaws.
glad to see someone still appreciates this awesome band
just wish i could find hurry
sundown somewhere
Can you tab out Riders in the Sky, i've been trying to find it for a while.
ANYONE OUT THERE TAB "PRISIONER" "STICK AROUND FOR ROCK AND ROLL" AND FREEBORN MAN???
Does any one out the know the layics for Green Grass and High Tides
Someone ask for lyrics?
Green Grass & High Tides
In a place you only dream of,
where your soul is always free
Silver stages, golden curtains,
filled my head plain as could be
As a rainbow grew around the
sun , all the stars I've loved,
who died, came from somewhere
beyond the scene you see
These lovely people played just
for me
Now if I let you see this place,
where stories all ring true
Then will you let me past your
face to see what's really you ?
It's not for me I ask this quest, as
though I was a king
For you have to love, believe and
feel, before the burst of
tamborines take you there
Green grass and high tides
forever
Castles of stone souls and glory
Lost faces say we adore you
As kings and queens bow and
play for you
Those who don't beleive me, find
you souls and set them free
Those who do, beleive and love,
as time will be your key
Time and time again I've thanked
them for a piece of mind
They helped me find myself
amongst the music and the
rhyme that enchants you there
Green grass and high tides
forever
Castles of stone soul and glory
Lost faces say we adore you
As kings and queens bow and
play for you
Yes a great southern rock band.Dont know if you all like
clicked to soon !!!country music but Henry Paul plays in a band called BLACKHAWK.Check them out.
Nice tab but I think it's up side down, easy ehough to fix though I played it standing on my head. Just kidding nice tab and thanks for taking the time to post it. Been a long time since i played GGHT
Does anyone know where to someone may have tabed the lead licks? I have looked all over and would love to have them.
Was the cowboy called Hurry Sundown or just Sundown?
sorry man, but this tab needs lots of corrections it's all wrong the cords sound really bad! and the intro is not correct what so ever:( i was going to use the rank feature but I could not get it to work
I was reading Phydeaux's comment and I think the tab is upside down? all I was looking at was the tab so the first thing that came into my mind was that this is all wrong!! cuz I know where it's to be played, and those nots you tabed out wore just non sence!! but then I played some of it downside up and it sounded ok:) I only played the first 2 cords of it, but after playing those,I figgered the rest of it is probably all pretty good:) thank you for posting it!
oops! i meant to say notes not nots;)
can some one show the chords over words for a singer first/ guitarist second..i suck but can play chords and sing a bit thanks
I think the writer of these tabs may have been a left-handed upside-down guitar player.
OK here are the chords
intro,Em,C,G,D,A
verse Em,G,C ,C,D
Chorus G,C,G,C cascade from C down to open a on A string play this piece 2x
G,F,C
fast part same as intro but faster
would any one happen to know the long solo that starts at 5:26 i cant find it any where
check out "Best of southern Rock" by Rick Rubin ( Hal Leonard)Much of Green Grass is tabbed out, CD with book plays the bits slowly as well.
Also if you like the Outlaws, check out "Anytime" by The Henry Paul Band for some kick ass guitar
