Vultures - Offspring
Written By The Offspring - In Normal Tuning
On Conspiracy Of One
Tabbed By AJ Vanb (Vanjoalja@aol.com)

I was searching for this song, found the tab and realised it was
complete and utter shit, as all I wanted was the solo, and it was
crap, so I strained my fingers figuring this solo out (even though
it’s not that hard to play) and tabbed the rest of it which I knew anyway.

Intro: Flanger effect - x6
  A5 C Em G A5 C Em G
----------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------

-0---0-3---3-2---2-----2-----0---0-3---3-2---2-----2------------
-------------------0-3---3---------------------0-3---3----------

The rhythm guitar plays the chords listed above the main riff.
They are:
  A5 C Em G
-0----0----0----3-----------------------------------------------
-0----1----0----0-----------------------------------------------
-2----0----0----0-----------------------------------------------
-2----2----2----0-----------------------------------------------
-0----3----2----2-----------------------------------------------
-----------0----3-----------------------------------------------

Then comes the bridge:

-------------0-0-x-0-3---3--------------------------------------

Then play the verse, bridge, chorus again until you get to the solo:
  A5 C5 Em G A5 C5 Em G A5 C5 Em
----------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
-2~-2/5~-5-4-5-4-------2-2/5~-5-4-5-4-7~-5-4----2~-2/5~-5-4-5-4-
-----------------5-2~------------------------5------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
  G A5 C5 Em G
----------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------5~-3-------------------------------------
-------2~-2/5~-5-4-5-4------5-4~--------------------------------
-5-2~-----------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------

Then repeat the bridge once and then the chorus twice and end on this final chord:
  A5
----------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
-2--------------------------------------------------------------
-2-(let ring)---------------------------------------------------
-0--------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------

Enjoy playing, it’s not hard so you should get it easy enough.

ummm, yea...
The intro is right on the bullseye,
the bridge and chorus are ok...
the solo is like, 99% right,
then the outro is close enough
overall tho it is a very nice jop and thanks a lot for the tab it is very good except for some minor errors that i can hear when playing, but cant really tell how they should be played, very nice job

o yea, very nice and easy to play, i honestly dont think that if you are playing this anyone who is listen will be able to tell anything is wrong, so very, very nice job.
i dont kno what it is about the solo tho, i think i just dont like the 5-4-5-4 part, but its like that in the song, maybe ur just off by like a fret that makes it sound bad or my guitar is outa tune, but still this tab IS GREAT I RECOMMEND USING THIS ONE AND NOT THE OTHER VULTURES TAB ON THIS SITE

I FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM!!!! in the solo when it goes:
--------- ---------
--------- should---------
-5-4-5-4-it /\go-5/4/5/4-
--------- ---------
--------- ---------
--------- ---------
You only pic the
the first 5, then
slide your finger
back and forth
between the 5th
and 4th fret. It
sounds a LOT better
that way.

----------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
-2~-2/5~-5/4/5/4-------2-2/5~-5/4/5/4-7~-5/4----2~-2/5~-5/4/5/4-
-----------------5-2~------------------------5------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
G A5 C5 Em G
----------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------5~-3-------------------------------------
-------2~-2/5~-5/4/5/4------5/4~--------------------------------
-5-2~-----------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
