How to read tabs?

The Offspring - I Choose (Ixnay on the Hombre)

* - repeat about 4 times
x - left hand mute

The main part of this song is accurate but the solo I'm not so sure about.  
All the finger positions there are pretty accurate it is just the strumming
and the high fret notes which are difficult.  I suggest try work out the 
strumming by playing with the solo on CD using my tabbing for a bit of 
assistance.
 
Intro:  Play once with guitar only then 3 times with bass and drums

its easier if its:

Yeah thats it cause I dont know if its right but it sounds the same cause its an A chord and an A minor chord. If you want E-mail me for whatever..

Hey, great, but the solo´s not complete and fully correct! As far as I used to play that couple months ago it was different in some parts... But for normal playing that´s enough. Sorry to say that, but I can´t remember how did I play it, so I cannot correct and brush up that. Keep playing, guys, and you´ll get it! Killer
