Overkill - by Men at WorK
SUBMITTED BY Kevin H, Queensland Australia

G D
I can't get to sleep
F C
I think about the implications
G D
Of diving in too deep
F C
And possibly the complications

Especially at night

I worry over situations

I know will be alright

Perhaps its just my imagination

Em D
Day after day it reappears
Em D
Night after night my heartbeat, shows the fear
Em D C D
Ghosts appear and fade away

Alone between the sheets
Only brings exasperation
It's time to walk the streets
Smell the desperation

At least there's pretty lights
And though there's little variation
It nullifies the night
From overkill

Day after day it reappears
Night after night my heartbeat, shows the fear
Ghosts appear and fade away

I can't get to sleep
I think about the implications
Of diving in too deep
And possibly the complications

Especially at night
I worry over situations
I know will be alright
It's just overkill

Day after day it reappears
Night after night my heartbeat, shows the fear
Ghosts appear and fade away

Kevin H. from queensland australia is a moron. Maybe next time he needs to lay off the weed when he decides to pretend he's a guitar player.
Those of us with our heads out of our asses know the song is in "E". I refer you to the song "Hold On Loosely" by 38 Special for an example of the progression of the verse.

Fine to say that the guy is wrong, but at least he posted his ideas. Guitar genius should post it if he knows better.

Actualy, I saw a VH1 thing with Colin playing that acoustic, and that's exactly how he was playing it. Maybe it's good to trust the fellow Aussie on this one :)
