Ok, this is only part of the song; the part after the chorus. But since it wasn't posted, I thought I'd do it. I'm only 13 and this is my first tab so it's very roundabout. E---------------------------------------------------------------- B 6-6-----------------------------------------------6------------ G ------7-5------7-7-5----------7-5-------7-7---------7-5-------- D-------------7-----------7-5-7--------7-----------------------7- A---------------------------------------------------------------- E---------------------------------------------------------------- E---------------------------------------------------------------- B 6-8-6---------------------------------------------------------- G ------7-5------7-7-5----------7-5------------------------------ D-------------7-----------7 5 7------7-5-7----------------------- A-------------------------------------------5-8-5---------------- E---------------------------------------------------------------- I think Knopfler uses hammer-ons and pull- offs; it's hard to tell. It's hard to figure out since it's so terribly fast, but this seems close. Please leave some comments/corrections

hy iam kevin from holland i don't make tabs but i can play allmost every song from mark knopfler on my guitar
if i would i could make tabs from all of his songs but i rather play, i think that if you want to learn a song you have to listen very good at it and very often. and if you know the solo very good you grap your guitar and try to play it many times so you'll remember the solo's. (most of the times is the solo in the first chord so if the song starts in G you can improvice in G) Greetz Kevin
well it' a good start that someone is trying to tab Mark Knopfler's guitar lines but let's face it... he's a guitarist that I would not dare try playing his songs... not sure anyone could get his great guitar sound,,, he's in a league of his own... but it's gret to know that the younger generations are still trying to listen to good music!
Yay, I'm 14 now! Anyway, I think my tab sounds better if you play it above the 12th fret (sounds cleaner than on the lower part of the fretboard)
