band-MARCY PLAYGROUND
song-THE ANGEL OF THE FOREVER SLEEP
(written by john wozniak)
album-the SEX AND CANDY single

the transcriber (that's me) is eric or god or that "guy... y'know... with
the face..." whatever you happen to know/refer to me as. i'm not picky
about names.

this is my first tab, so i hope i don't blow it too badly. of course this
is only my interpretation of the song, all my own work, so on, so forth.
copyright laws bite the big one.

we're in standard e tuning. this song is really easy, but the bridge took
me some time to figure out. there's a concert base in the foreground of
that part that threw me off for a while. anyhoo, here goes.

Verse:
e---3-3----------------
B---3-3----0h1p0-------
G---0-0----------0-----
D---0-0------------0---
A---2-2----------------
E-3-3-3-3-3----------3-

that part repeats three times, then kicks into:

e-------------------3-3-------------
B---------5-5-------3-3-----0h1p0---
G---------5-5-------0-0----------0--
D-3-3-x-x-5-5-x-x---0-0-----------0-
A-3-3-x-x-3-3-x-x---2-2-------------
E-1-1-x-x-----x-x-3-3-3-3-3--------3

 "I...    have come..."

then after the the overall verse repeats a time or five... i don't know
what you'd call this part... it goes:

e----------------------------------------
B---5-5--5-5------------5-5--5-5---------
G---5-5--5-5------------5-5--5-5---------
D---5-5--5-5-0-0-0h2----5-5--5-5-0-0-0h2-
A-3-3-3--3-3----------3-3-3--3-3---------
E----------------------------------------

...then back into the verse.

this all repeats for a while, (listen to the cd to pick up the
progression) then it moves from the verse to the bridge with a tricky
little...

Intro to Bridge
e---3---3---3---3-------
B---3---3---3---3-------
G---0---0---0---0-------
D---0---0---0---0-0000-2
A---2---2---2---2-2222-2
E-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3333-2

Bridge
e-0-0-----3-3-----1-1--0-0--0-0--0-1-0
B-0-0-----3-3-----3-3--3-3--3-3--3-3-3
G-0-0-----0-0-----2-2--2-2--2-2--2-2-2
D-2-2-x-x-0-0-x-x-0-0--0-0--0-0--0-0-0
A-2-2-x-x-2-2-x-x-0-0--0-0--0-0--0-0-0
E-0-0-x-x-3-3-x-x---------------------

 "in... a world...of mine..."

the outro from the bridge is the tricky part. i play it a slightly
different way than the song, but i'll tab it as marcy playgroung does it.

Outro From Bridge
e------------1--1-1---------------1--1-1-
B------------3--3-3---------------3--3-3-
G-2-2-0h2----2--2-2--2-2-0-0h2----2--2-2-
D---------0--0--0-0------------0--0--0-0-
A------------0--0-0---------------0--0-0-
E----------------------------------------

---------------------------------3-3----
----------------1----------------3-3----
-2-2-0-0h2-----2-2--------0------0-0----
-----------3--3---3-0----2-2-----0-0----
----------------------3-3---3-0--2-2----
-------------------------------3-3-3-3-3

and again back into the verse. i hope you can use this tab. feel free to
email any corrections/comments/CONSTRUCTIVE criticism to
randomscreenname@comcast.net. thank you for listening.
