The part that follows is weird to play, but I believe it is the correct form.
The pick is used for tapping, for sliding and for hammering on(quite difficult)
Ex:
-First 8 is played
-Then the pick taps on 12 and slides to 13 (T/)
-Then the pick is released so 8 can sound again
-Again the pick taps on 12 and slides to 13... and so on
-The resulting sound is something like if played like this:
