just adding something to my own tab...
the 345 up high is supposed to be 245. and if you cant hit that chord at the right speed, you can just play 799 a string lower like below
------------
---5--------
---4---9----
---2---9----
-------7----
------------

just a thought, try playing this theme in drop D, it easier for me, and maybe for others, cause you never have to go up in the strings. you can just stay on the lowest three.

Dude you are way off on this TAB, I meen not even close to it. Learn how to pick some country blues riffs and use the open E and A strings....get back to me if ya dont get this one......E!

Andrew January 5, 2004, 5:10

Look, i know this is wrong but this is a really basic way for a beginner to play this song. It isn't even the entire song though.

sorry on the second 00004 on the low E string it should be 00004000. Sorry again for that and for the shittiness of the tab.

Dave March 21, 2004, 5:28

I'm pretty sure that I've tabbed it correct. Do it in standard tunning. I think that it goes

Riff 1

----------------------------
----------------------------
----------------------------
-2-222-226-222-227-777-11-9
-2-222-226-222-227-777-11-9
-0-000-004-000-005-555-9--7

Riff 2

------------------------------
------------------------------
------------------------------
-2-222-226-222-227-777-6-4-4-2
-2-222-226-222-227-777-6-4-4-2
-0-000-004-000-005-555-4-2-4-2

Then repeat riff 1

the final part is which is the walkdown is

----------------------------
----------------------------
----------------------------
14-xx-11-xx-7-xx-6-66-7-4-2
14-xx-11-xx-7-xx-6-66-7-6-2
14-xx-9--xx-5-xx-4-44-5-4-0

Thats it. I'm sure that it's right. anyway, e-mail me if their are any corrections on it. Rock on! Dang it bobby :-)

Hey Dave, if you are the same Dave? YOU SUCK!!!,
ok just an update this song was created by the Canadian band called" The Barenaked Ladies" a group of GUYS! yes i know us Canadians are weird. no one really knows how these guys came up with this stupid ass name for their band, As a Canadian i would like to say that Even though our Government steals from their people that Canada still rocks and i am Canadian......if you are American and you read this you will not understand the last part about "I AM CANADIAN" because it is a BEER company's slogan that they use to brain wash us little young 11teen year olds into drinking it. oh yeah yes i forgot one thing just for a refreasher, The Barenaked Ladies sing this song. And they are accually not naked wemon, but some canadian guys who figured it would be halarious or some shitness thing to have their name as the Barenaked ladies.

I am known as gnarkill and if you just read this whole thing ..... i'm sorry cause it is all true and you just wasted so how many minutes it took you to read all of this shitpoop that i just typed.
