It is simple to play, have fun. The hardest part about the song is
finding a woman to sing it with.

to be honest i never even heard of this song befor.

but it was in the top 20 on number seven with a rank rate of 4.6 so i thought it must be a cool song,
so for reference on the song i downloadet it and stardet playing along.

well the text and the chorts are easy to play and sing along.
to bad i could only rank it (5) becouse i would have given it a (10).

thx for this great tab and keep it up :)

Leeflower March 31, 2003, 16:38

well....that was easy ;)...great song...the hardest part about the song is
finding a MAN to sing it with ;)

mikenrachel69 April 2, 2003, 21:47

Jessica April 7, 2003, 7:03

well I loved this song when I first heart it, and I love to play itmself now. Its a hella easy but great song.

Icedflamez April 8, 2003, 10:32

unbelievably a great song, very easy to play and sin along to, only thing is, does anyone know the little bits that follow after the cords? coz that would be great, just mail me if u know...cheeerz..

Clown Shoes April 12, 2003, 3:25

This is a great song...playing is very simple and the only trouble i had was finding a woman that can sing the other part half way decent. And for the most part...the little licks that come after the chord is played is just strumming the G,B,e strings...i think

Hugo Paquette April 12, 2003, 23:39

J'aurais aimé donner tout mon commentaire en français mais je ne pense pas que tous puissent le lire...
So, it's a frined who asked me to sing with her : this song is just great, even if it's not come from Québec !

kris epperson April 15, 2003, 23:15

this is a great song. if you want to play this song its easy to learn. if you know your chords by earyou should know it.thats how i learned it .i would give it a 9.5 listed GREAT SONG YET!

kk110 April 16, 2003, 6:41

Hey!
Great song, easy to follow.
I know all the cords and everything, but i was wondering if anyone knows the strumming patterns? I know there are two in the song, but i haven't been able to figger out either. If you could comment on this that'd be great thanks! KK110

J.C. April 25, 2003, 16:25

there are a few lyrical corrections that i see that should be made...nothing major but it makes more sense ...Sheryl Crow says "I CAUGHT you last night at the hotel.", and "I was HEADED TO church." i have heard a lot of people sing it wrong and i thought i should let someone know...other than that...the song is great and the chords are easy to follow and simple...Later.

SHYTOWN May 1, 2003, 8:03

Maggie June 8, 2003, 16:07

heyyyy i really love that song and playing it was amazingg!! i just need some help in readying to complicated tabs:) if anyone got time please email me and teach me!!!!!

Barrett June 20, 2003, 6:58

can somebody send me the bass walkdowns for this song?

Barrett June 21, 2003, 7:07

this is kind of a follow-up to Clown Shoes... the licks after the chord go like this

-x-x------
-x-------x
-x---x-x--
-x--------
-x--------
-x--------

play whatever chord it is but hit the strings where the x's are (the x's aren't palm mutes). for the first column of x's, play either the chord or the root of the chord, just listen to the song, it's pretty easy

My husband picked up his guitar after 15 yrs and started playing this song. Does anyone know where I can find more music with the picture chords such as this with the words right on it? Please email me. thanks

Krystaline August 5, 2003, 21:09

Hey! Great Job! I found the strumming patterns but I'm still looking for the solo!!! If anyone knows, let me know too. Thnx.

Daniel August 14, 2003, 4:56

This song goes along well with somethin that happened between me and a girl. It was our song before any cheating happened, and since we have been split up, i thought i would learn to play this on the guitar for her if i ever see her again... anyways, this helped out alot, thank you.

mike December 21, 2003, 7:39

for all you people looking for strum patterns. to make it easy you can use the simple and basic: down, down, up, up, down, up.

Kodi Jo June 13, 2004, 21:21

Can anyone tell me the other strumming patern to this song, I know that one is down down up up down up, but whats the other? Help please!

Cale June 20, 2004, 2:20

just listen to the song to get the strum pattern

Jess July 9, 2004, 4:41

This song is GREAT!I love to sing it.I wish i could be as good as Sheryl Crowe and go to Nashville!Who knows maybe someday I will!

Capo The 18th Fret June 24, 2006, 3:18

To me, it sounds personal, but I had NO trouble finding a woman to sing with.
