This is my first tabbing project, so sorry if there are any mistakes. This
was meant to be played on two guitars, so if their are a couple of places
that seem a little strange, try it with two guitars. I created this using
the Bucket o' Tab tabliture software, so if anybody wants the better looking
and easier to understand BOT version E-mail me and I'll send it to you. Enjoy!

This is an excerpt from NEVADA. I do encourage you though to try the
picking pattern described in the full article there. Yes it does look
horrible but if *I* can play it, everybody should be able to ;-), ameen.

Lyrics:
1st Verse:
I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone ...
All my dreams __pass before my eyes, a curiosity ...
Dust in the Wind. All they are is dust in the wind.
2nd Verse
Same old song, ... just a drop of water in an endless sea.
All we do ... crumbles to the ground .. though we refuse to see.
Dust in the wind. All we are is dust in the wind.
Interlude
Oh. ho, ho
3rd verse
Now don't hang on, -- nothing lasts forever except the earth and sky.
It slips away, ... and all your money won't another minute buy.
Dust in the wind. All we are is dust in the wind.
Dust in the wind. Everything is dust in the wind.
The wind.
(Ad lib vocal)

The wind.
I am almost positive that the chords goes like....
C G Am G Dm7 Am G/B
C G Am G Dm7 A
But other than that .... WONDERFUL TAB!
sorry about the last comment... i ment to say that the last chord i put down was a Am.... sorry
sorry sarah but your wrong...he is right
No madd dog!sarah is not wrong!take a good look at it n tell me!
you guys may be able to write guitar tabs but you need to work on the grammar. "i ment to say a Am" try "i MEANT to say AN Am" sorry , plus would someone please tab the verses instead of just putting the chords
Jameson...please refrain from speaking like my English teacher again. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Quit bein' a bunch o' bitches. The tab as originally writtenis perfect. That chord is not a G, but a G/B. G sounds ok and is a fair shortcut, but lets get it right.
It is much more rude to correct grammar or spelling on a post than it is to use incorrect grammar. Thats the whole point of the Internet! Good grammar skills not required. Is you unnerstand what me is talked bout?
-mac
can someone possibly tell me what G/B means?
Attn Rob : G/B is a special chord. Make a B barre chord except make a C chord after the barre finger instead of the E chord. Any confusions goto www.chordfind.com, actually go there anyways its a good site. He who makes a beast of himself, gets rid of the pain from being a man. HST
This is a beutiful song, play with acousitc for an athentic sound or add some eletric to give it a cool ring, either way, chics love it, they really like it for some reason, lol, great job tabin the song dude, Rock ON
solo quiero decir que la cancion es muy buena es un clasico y la parte de violin esta muy bien suena exelente
This is a great song and in my opinion it sounds best on a classical guitar. Playing chords are alright, but picking does not compare to fingerstyle with this type of music.
look just play the song and add your own changes to it,other than that shut up about it and enjoy
this isnt one of the best
tabs ive looked at but its
ok....i agree with "it doesnt
matter that you should play
it how you think it's
played...and if it sounds
horrible then change
somthing.
Actually i thought the chords
went like this...
C ..Em7... Amsus4..Am....
G...Dsus4/Dm.... Am
then you repeat
Then for the chorus you go
F#/D...G...Am...G/Am
F#/d...G ...Am...
Email me if you have
anything different to ay
about it
Oh my god, it's horrible
I never seen that before. THAT IS NOT DUST IN THE WIND
That is dust in the wind

Ultramarine is right I don't know
How you had coult thougt that
this tab was so beautiful and
wonderful ! The melody is not
here !
PS : Excuse me for my very very
very bad english (I don't want any
comment from Jameson)(but he
was right when he said that
people write bader and bader on
internet)
Sorry, Way off its like just a certain picking way with a bunch of chords i dunno how you came up with this, nice try!
You are all an idiots with your english stupids
First, AHJTA... bader isn't a word, try worse.
Everyone's fighting for nothing. You're all right. Put those chords on top of the melody that ultramarine tabbed and you have the song.
I'm playing it next week on stage, should be fun :D
BE CAREFUL AND BE WARNED!!!!
DUST CAUGHT IN THE WIND CAN STING UR EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that is a great song i have played this song for a long time great job well put
well, dust in ur eyes can still really hurt.
As a liscenced optical surgen, I absolutly must agree with THE CAUTIONARY VOICE THAT PERIODICALLY GOES OFF IN in saying that blowing dust is very dangerous. Wind blown dust is one of the most common foreign objects that surgens remove from eyes. Beyond that, please feel free to check and comment upon my grammar.
im too lazy too...
but thank you for agreeing and realizing that dust can hurt ur eyes...
What a shame. Some interesting, relevant comments, then idiot spam takes over. The guy that gave the forum to the internet should be made to come and read it. Many people who read and submit to this site may not have English as their first language. How do guys fare in Spanish, Greek, German etc.... many "English" naturals are unable to string two words together in any other language, so suggest we shouldn't criticise.... anyway, to the point. A truly great song which should be better known, and hence, a classic. Thanks for the TAB.... it's close enough to give me a lot of help.
Das peudo de agua de la por favor?
darf ich wasser?
Something in greek?
Les mansion de les Francais.
I feel smart. But tured of moron spam, was ur comment really less relevant than mine?
