Ridin' My Thumb to Mexico
Johnny Rodriguez
               C
This old highway seems so lonesome
            Em
When You're going where you've been
        F
And a lonesome song can make you cry
G7
Time and time again
       C
If I'd listened to a friend of mine ten
Am F
Years ago today, I'd have a better job
                       g7
Than what I've got today

2nd verse
        C
But the billboards on the highway and the
Em
brake lights on the cars
         F G7
Make me jump out on the highway with my bag and my guitar
        C Am
If she comes or if she goes it doesn't matter
                  f g7 c
Anymore cause i'm ridin' my thumb to Mexico

(chorus)
F G7 C-E7-Am
Ridin' my thumb to Mexico

It don't matter when or how I go

I'm ridin' my thumb til I see her again

I'm ridin my thumb to Mexico

3d Verse

The reason why she left me's not the reason that I'm here;
I'm a travlin' kind of man, just need a change of atmosphere.
If there's any place I haven't been at all that's where I'll go
So I'm ridin' my thumb to Mexico

(chorus)

Ridin' my thumb to Mexico
It don't matter when or how I go
I'm ridin' my thumb til I see her again
I'm ridin my thumb to Mexico

It should be dm instead of F in the first part of the verse.
