John Mayer - Your body is a wonderland
tabbed: Rhett Smith
rhette28@yahoo.com

This isn't a full tab. But as you will see below,
it's right on track.
I've only listened to the song a few times
on the radio...so this is incomplete.
Actually, if you want a full tab, check out 'Your body is a
wonderland (2)'.

I tabbed this with a capo on fret one. If you alter the tab
abit, you dont need the capo at all (as you see).
The tab is absolute (ie. NOT relative to the capo)

intro, verses, and chorus go something like this
(basically a barre chord F) repeatedly:

e----1-1---1-1----1-1----1-1----------
B----1-1---1-1----1-1----1-1----------
G-------------------------------------
D--3---3------------------------------
A--------3---3--1---1--3---3----------
E-------------------------------------

the bridge "if you want love...yadda yadda" goes a like
this (repeated a few times)...

e---5-5---3-3----5-5---3-3-------------
B---1-1---1-1----1-1---1-1------------
G-------------------------------------
D-------------------------------------
A-1---1-1-1-1--3---3-3-3-3------------
E-------------------------------------

the prechorus ("...this is bound to awhile...") starts up
the main riff again.

easy, ah?
told ya.
let me know how ya think.

good tab. its eaiar on the 3rd fret than the 8th

This way is actually a lot more difficult than it has to be, try starting on the 3rd fret d string and pluck 4th and 5th fret on the G and B then move your pointer finger down to the 3rd fret a string
