"Your Body is a Wonderland" (live version)
Song by: John Mayer
Standard tuning with capo on 1st fret
Tab is made WITHOUT regard to capo so a "1" on the A
string is really played open. Also, I finger-pick
the whole thing and the "xxx" means hitting the
strings with you hand not muffled. If you can play this,
I am assuming you know what a slide, hammer, palm mute,
bend and staccato (quick note) are and look like.
There are other tabs without a capo but I like mine.

SOLO...sort of. (rythem = one ee and a two ee and a etc...)
This is tricky because you have to quickly hit-mute-staccato.
Ive added the base line in parentheses for no particular reason.

Great tab amigo. peace
your tab really kicks ass
This tab is realy great
Good tab. This is not the way John plays it though. Not that anyone was asking. I think the way he plays it is actually easier.
This is a good tab but i
have found that playing with
a capo gets the same
sound. This allows you to
add more color notes as
well with much more ease.
I say think zen, less is
more.
ive realized that instead of constantly plucking the 5&6 on the G&B string, you can just pluck the E&B strings open (if you have the capo of course). that should make it a bit easier to play.
does this song have chords to it
What's a capo...I play the E&B strings open regular and it sounds just fine...?
tyler, a capo is something that bars all of the strings for you at a fret.
And if you scroll up john is right, if you see a video of him playing it it actually is the low E dropped to a D and it is a lot easier than this tab. but it is a good tab
i think this tab looks good but why doesnt anyone tab out the riff the backround guitar makes, i think thats the coolest thing in the song, and the whole song is based off of it too
To whoever created this fucking tab,
I'm gonna kick your butt for this isn't the right tab for my song!!!
Very funny. hahahahaha.
cool!
This tab is great but since I learned wonderland playing it in drop d tuning I was hoping someone can tab out the crazy solo from any given thursday DVD. you know anyone that can do that?
this tab is fucking bad... this is not/NoT/NOT the way john plays it. it is in drop d and its like this:
e-
h-
g---10---10----10---10---
d---10---10----10---10---
a-8----------------------
e-----------10----------- t t
it continiues here...
e------------------------
h------------------------
g---10---10----10---10---
d---10---10----10---10---
a------------------------
e-8---------10----------- t t
actually the right tab is written .... if u go to www.guitartabs.com and goes on john mayer`s link u will find the right one )the whole song)
if u chose the first alternative the one )john mayer tabs) and something with DMB or something u will come to a site with a lot of john mayer tabs. scroll down to ur body is a wond.land and there u`ll go
what is capo? Just happy to start, and to be here.
u must have some big hands to stretch 6 frets... in the music video john doesn't do that... but ya know, it sounds pretty close, but my hands aren't big enough to play the whole song by this tab
Beginner, a capo is a clip that makes the pitch higher or lower so it's easier to sing to.
Nice guy - i always wonder that!
there's a capo on the 1st fret... you don't hafta stretch 6 frets. only 3 i think. it's not too hard, but big hands come in handy yes
This feature's purpose is to add interesting comments or corrections on this tablature:
so what r u waitin 4 huh! kick my ass!
cool stuff man... but i think john play easier
by the way it Freaks me up!!
Great job
dude, this is a good tab, and who really cares how john mayer plays it. this sounds a lot like it, and john mayer is a cheesy cheesy dude anyways. hes a cheesy guy who happens to be a very good guitar player. but i will go on record as sayin that john mayer is a tool
i'd have to agree with nate there
Good tab. But your style of playing is a lot harder then John's
Hey beginner dude-
A capo is a little clamp looking thing you use to make whatever you're playing be octaves higher it doesnt change the notes just how high or low they are
Anybody seen a tab for John Mayer's "Back To You"?
Thanks and Peace,
C
