Here is the TAB to 'Always with me, Always with you' by Joe Satriani.
This is my all time favorite instrumental to listen to and play, and it
has taken a long time to get everything exactly like the album,
including a lot of time with a half speed deck. I am not sure about the
rhythm (which I only notated part of) I think one of the guitars is
strung 'nashville style' but I'm not sure....
Also, there are places where Joe uses the bar that I just am not good
enough to do in tune so I notated them as slides. There are a lot of
little things in this song that are not notated, subtle slides and ghost
hammer-ons, etc. But the most important thing is to use distortion and
compression and really make the notes sing. Especially on the main
theme.
And some of the slides are just slides up to the note, so don't be confused if
you only hear the second note on some of them...
Hope someone can use this! Here is some explantion of the notation. I
tried to keep it as simple as possible.
h = hammer on a.h = Artificial Harmonic
p = pull off s.h = Semi Harmonic
/ = slide up w/bar = use tremolo bar
\ = slide down t = right hand tap on
^ = bend with size of bend notated above

just like to say i saw joe in concert and he was even more impressive than on cd.
im trying to learn always with me always with you, surfing with the alien and satch boogie(my favourite) and always with me.. is a good one to start with. its so rewarding to clock even a small part of a joe satriani riff so, to everyone, go for it.
Well! It's so comforting having chups like Joe to play the best - to my ears - modern music and fill the hallow of my room with that magical sound I enhale instead of the air sometimes. The concert in San Francisco is a glory. Good luck Joe.
surfing with the alien cd never leaves my car and won't start without it. i'm from philippines and the cd came all the way from the usa which i requested from my cousin since i want the cleareset copy i can find.
I'm from the philippines, recently i bought a DVD copy of Joe Satriani live in San Francisco, man it was one hell of an experienced!I felt like being there..since then I never start my day without watching his concert on my PC.

Ive seen joe twice,once on flying tour, thatwas awesome. and again on crystal planet tour again, awesome. Joe satriani is a true hero. not only does he excel at guitar but his musical foresight and wisdom are second to none, along with his creativity. Joe is like a fine wine, gettin better with age for sure. The music world is a better place cuz of guys like Joe!!!!! And all us guitar players should be thankful for guys like Joe, we get to learn and enjoy and see where the bar is for us to try and reach
