"Mudfootball" by Jack Johnson
>From "Brushfire Fairytales"
tabbed by Christian Larson

I saw Jack in concert last week, and from what I could see, these are =
the chords for
Mudfootball. Pretty simple song. Listen to the CD to hear where the =
changes are.

Chords Used:

     G D* Em A C
 E ---3-----5-----7-----5-----8-----
 B ---3-----3-----8-----5-----8-----
 G ---4-----5-----9-----6-----9-----
 B ---5-----4-----9-----7-----10----
 A ---5-----X-----7-----7-----10----
 E ---3-----X-----7-----5-----8-----

Basically, most of the song is just switching between G and D*

Chorus: ("We used to laugh a lot.....)

Em A C A then back to the G and D* stuff.

There you go. Pretty easy stuff. If anyone knows what the D* chord is =
really called,
please post a correction. Enjoy.

This file is all my own work.

IMO, i think the way Christian Larson tabbed it is right on. I also take back on the other mudfootball comment that I thought it was some "C" chord. It's definitely some sort of D7 chord. But, not the first comment D chord by collin.

Also, I'm sure it was just a typo... but, here in Christian Larson's tab... it's just in standard E tuning. He has a "B" and it should be a "D"... but, you didn't even notice that. (EADGBE not EABGBE). Thanks Christian for the tab.

oops, i thought collin's D* chord was a Dmaj7 chord. It's actually almost the same chord as Christian's. My bad. But, I still think the first is closer to what Jack plays. I wish this "add comment" had an edit button and then you wouldn't have seen my mistakes :P hehe

actual chord is same chord type jimi uses in purple haze
1st finger 4th fret
2nd finger 5th fret
3rd finger 5th fret
4th finger 6th fret

Try this, sounds good, I'm sure it's right cuz I have a video
Purple haze has them down 2 frets each.
