Heh, it's wrong. Except for the fact that it lacks the obvious palm muting from the real song it also is played in a different key. I'm really a beginner at the guitar, so perhaps I shouldn't be pointing fingers, but I'm pretty sure the real version goes barré G D E C :)
Yeah, Martin is right. The palm muting helps make this song bitchin. And Jord, yes, it is easy to look at, but that doesn't make the tab correct. And, you must be high if you think that solo is "tricky." I mean, Social Distortion's, "Don't Drag Me Down," has a "tricky" solo. The solo you tabbed sucks, in the first place. It's wrong. I am shocked, and appauled. I hope you've learned your lesson, whoever tabbed this. lol.
this tab istn exactly right...i have a live performance and billie plays it way different...its still kinda close but not exactly
this tab is wrong!!! billie does not play it that way...and the solo sucks too...its somewhat right...but if u listen to the song theres more to it than what you have down...so yeah this tab basically sucks...the main riff isnt right the chorus is fucked up

this tab is very close. its missing the palm mute and a part of the chorus but its the best on this site. and to all those who have been playing guitar for a month or a week and feel the need to comment SAVE IT your wrong.

Alright everybody. Listen up! Just to set you all straight, all the chords are right. the number of times they are strummed are a bit off, but listen to the song and you can figure that out on your own. When it comes to the solo, so far as I can tell it's right too, but the ending is missing. I've been playing guitar for 4 years now. I'm not saying I'm great cuz im not, but I have been around music most of my life and I have ears. Oh, by the way the chord strums should be: F#-3 times, D#-3times, F-2times, and B-once. For those of you who don't know what im talking about the chords are in order. I'm telling you all, Im right about all this. I wouldn't write unless I was. peace out-

and i seemed to have worked out the solo fine, so if you dont like it go suck your mothers boob
AHHH... This tab is RIGHT, if you wanna play along with the album version and are tuned to standard EADGBe tuning... BUT Billie and Mike are tuned half step, so it's played in the G positions, but it sounds like an F# because of the half step tuning... there's more to the solo though...
the intro is wrong i don't understant have u do play it but the rest is fucking perfect men.
NitroSG is right. They tune down a semitone, so it sounds in F# but all the chord positions are actually in G. And the reason the solo in this one sounds funny is that the chords are in F# but the solo is in the G position where he would actually play it. Honestly, does anyone think he would deliberately play in F#? Its Green Day, man. It's a whole lot easier playing it in the G position. They just tune sown. Simple.
