G-Lamb, you've probably never even picked up a guitar in your life... This tab is excellent. It is honestly one of the best tabs that I have seen on this sight.
My only beef with the chord definitions on top... The "D" is actually a "D-Aug", the Em is (i think) a Em-7-Aug and I am not sure what the C is but it is not just C-Maj... Great Tab!!!

Almost all tabs found anywhere on the net are correct, but lyrics are most always wrong...corrections:

Sorry...it's "[...]dead skin on trial" not "on trial"

Hey thank you so much for this tab. I played at a school talent show, this very tab. At the end everyone was clapping and shit, haha. Anyways, thank you for tabbing this correctly, Even the international superhits tab book is wrong, it's not what Billy Joe plays. In alot of the songs in there, the transriber put chords like x5578 or somthing when he actually only plays power chords like x557. Anyways, I'm done rambling, thanks again, and if you ever hear the name Adam Thompson in the future, thats me.

eli i dont know what version of this song youve heard but the one thats on the cd, radio, tv, etc. is not all strumming some parts, believe it or not, are picked. this is the second time ive had to correct you on a green day tab. get it together man.
I'm not sure about it, but i think you should play the g-string as the last of each chord(after you played the d-string).
I might be wrong, but i think it sounds even better...
