Song: Faith
Author: George Michael
Album: Faith
This version transcribed by: Matt Stevenson<mtsteve77@hotmail.com>

x = muted string

Capo 1st fret

Chords used:

  B E G# C#m F#

  7 7 4 4 2
  9 7 6 4 4
  9 9 6 6 4
  8 9 5 6 3
  7 9 4 5 2
  7 x 4 4 2

I agree with the previous posting that the song is primarily B and E bar
chords, but after listening to the CD, I believe this is the complete
correct version. The song starts on B and alternates between B & E for the
most part but if you listen to the CD, you can figure out where the other 3
chords go. Listen to the song to figure out the strumming patterns.

why would u use a capo on the first fret if u are playing barre cords? makes no sense

Tom August 26, 2003, 23:53

It makes more sense to capo 4th sting to make it easier to play some of the chords.

Natalie October 3, 2003, 0:52

Keith is right there is no capo needed for this tab!!!

Joseph October 4, 2003, 8:32

Yeah, there is no need to use capo on this tab!!! ;)

rickee November 1, 2003, 19:40

you should not use a capo if you are going to use the bar chords.

Erik November 5, 2003, 20:07

Look, its true about the capo but there's no need to keep going on about it.

bob November 24, 2003, 21:22

Dave December 25, 2003, 23:53

hotpotato June 9, 2004, 1:46

I love my dod, and it says this song rocks and there is no capo needed, potatos rock

moza June 30, 2004, 20:46

forget the capo but there is deffinately a Bb minor between the B and the G in the pre chorus bit, so it goes E - B - Bb minor - G sharp minor - C sharp minor - F sharp. So there.

moza July 9, 2004, 13:35

actually, i have changed my mind, you could capo the 2nd fret, this would make the F sharp a bit easier to play but you would definately not need to capo the first fret!

stevo December 7, 2006, 0:54

i just think that we all have our way of playing a song so thank you for sharing the tab with us and you can use the capo or not all depends on the way you feel it should be played
