If you have ever seen Evanescense live, you'll know that they are a fresh new and exciting band that was too long in the making. where were these songs when I was in highschool? I my oppinion, for what it's worth to all who read this, I am glad to have shared part of my life with the band live in concert.

Without the shit guitars the song is 100% pure pop, the singers voice would not be out of place in a Westlife song. If it was rock'n'roll then it could never be described as beautiful. Ana sutra you are the one with no fucking balls seeing as you censor yourself when typing a word like balls. Music should be filled with blazing riffs, screaming guitars and it should be fueled by Jim Bean and Jack Daniels not half-shandys and Bacardi Breezer.

Dear idiot slipknot are nothin but a band who think that they write great meaningful lyrics and their is no solos. Metallica are a band who have all these things not a band that relys on the crappy gimick of masks. How original. I will remind you something. Music have been created to serve people, not people for music.... Every one of us has a diffrent personality so its natural that we don't like the same music...EVERY music style in this world has its advantages and disadvantages and ALL the music styles have something to give....Take anything you want and don't argue....Its pointless. If you you want to argue about music, do it with the companys who sell the CDs about the prices and they want to stop the mp3 transfer via internet.....I think thats not pointless....

I appreciate the tablature. Has anyone tried to figure out the intro as played live. They do the intro figure on the guitar in a small figure at the 8th position. I saw them live last week in DC on a bill with Revis, Cold and Finger Eleven. All the bands were much louder and rougher live. As far as the debate about pop, gimme a break. I don't see single band mentioned which is not or was not a corporate product. Record companies gobble up talent with any chance of mass appeal in order to cash in. Even obscure world music gets commercialized and marketed down our throats, check out the soundtrack to Dead Man Walking where Pearl Jam teams up with Nusrat. If your objection is to corporate created music, I think you are making distinctions without a difference. Either you like it or you don't. Do you like classical music only if was not written by someone commissioned by royalty? Sure, pop appeals to the most common taste, but so does ice cream and bubble gum. If you prefer more obscure fare, go eat it. But don't whine because the grocery store stocks candy bars at he counter instead of sashimi.
Ive been playing guitar a very longtime. I just want to say that I think this band is great. Especially The singer. If you come here for great guitar riffs you are in the wrong place. Remember fellow guitarist, there are people listening to music in different ways than us musicans do. Amy kiks ass!!!

Hey all. I just wanted to say that this band has pretty much saved my life this past week. And, it doesn't matter if you like ACDC or Metallica or Ozzy better because...i like them all. People especially shouldn't catagorize the music. Leave the music alone. It shouldn't matter if you like Metal, Pop, Emo, or even Jazz. Just as long as you like it. Different music speaks to different people. Everybody is different, therefore, people can't help but like different kinds of music. It's great if people like the same tunes and too bad if they like something the complete opposite of what your favorite band/artist sings or wears. All thats important is that you like your music and you stick to it and not change it just because of what someone else says. If someone says something bad about your favorite band, just let it slide. They can't help it that they are stuck in a world of labels. Two months or so ago me an my friends were at the REading to see Metallica an we got into a fight with sum ball sacks that told us that evanescence rule. So we fought after one of them through a bottle at me an i kiked him in the nads

I would just like to comment on Orsons point of view...if this is the only reason why you do not like Evanescence then you are a very narrow minded stereotypical person....really no offense Orson, but everyone has different taste, and even tho it may not suit your palet, it is still their form of creative expression...have you ever read the biography of the band? They are not your run of the mill pop stars, now Justin timberlake on the other hand, no lets not even go there...I think she has an absolutely beautiful voice, very talented, and I think they the two are able to express their stories very well indeed, she sings from her soul. Thats what matters the most, I think the guitars are great, maybe its no Steve Vai...but if everyone played the same the world would be very boring indeed. Love~

This tab is very good, I'm from Italy and the Evanescence have had a boom in a period after with nobody like them. But in my opinion they are a fantastic group. And this is a song not playble so easly. Excuse me for the not correct english. bye
