Evanescence

Going Under

Listening to the acoustic version I wrote this tab.
I think this is more correct than other I tried.
Any comment or correction will be appreciated.

Verse 1 and Verse 2 are basically the same, you have to play the
same note, but you have also to play the rythm as in the song. It
is kinda easy, so, have fun!! ;)

Verse 1:

Bm sus
now I will tell you what I've done for you

Bm sus
50 thousand tears I've cried

Bm sus
screaming deceiving and bleeding for you

Bm sus
and you still won't hear me

Bm sus
don't want your hand this time I'll save myself

Bm sus
maybe I'll wake up for once

Bm sus
not tormented daily defeated by you

Bm sus
just when I thought I'd reached the bottom

G A G
I'm dying again

--------

Chorus:
                  Bm G D

I'm going under

A Bm G D
drowning in you

A Bm G D
I'm falling forever

A Bm G D
I've got to break through

A Bm sus
I'm going under

--------

Verse 2:

Bm sus
blurring and stirring the truth and the lies

Bm sus
so I don't know what's real and what's not

Bm sus
always confusing the thoughts in my head

Bm sus
so I can't trust myself anymore

G A G
I'm dying again

--------

Chorus:
                  Bm G D

I'm going under

A Bm G D
drowning in you

A Bm G D

I'm... so go on and scream

                Fm Bm
scream at me I'm so far away

Bm G
I won't be broken again

                   Fm Bm G D

I don't understand what is going on in the verses. In the live acoustic performance, moody is using middle and ring fingers to mute the strings and plays open with index and pinky fingers. The sound appears to be some variation of Bm sus however not sure what he is exactly doing. I do know however that Bm sus alone doesn't sound right. Was wondering if perhaps anyone had a more detailed breakdown of how the verses are played. I do agree with the author of this tab that Bm sus comes into play, but not sure how to work it.

I know what billybob is trying to say. The Chord used in this song (acoustic and studio) is B5 with F# Bass. The Chord goes like this: 2244XX or 224422 (called Bm sus, here). Try to tap D and G strings with one finger (pinky one) to play exactly as Moody does. I'll try to post a more exact tab, here.
