Song: Landslide
Band: Dixie Chicks
Tabbed by: M. Marchetti (jerzedevil4@yahoo.com)

Capo: 7th fret

Intro: C G Am7 G (2x)

C G Am7 G
I took my love and I took it down
C G Am7 G
Climbed a mountain then I turned around
         C G Am7 G
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
              C G Am7
Well the landslide brought me down

  G C G
  Oh, mirror in the sky
       Am7 G
  What is love?
            C G Am7 G
Can the child within my heart rise above
        C G Am7 G
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides
          C G Am7 G
Can I handle the seasons of my life
   C G Am7 G
  Uh ah................
    C G Am7 D7
  Uh ah.........Uh ah.........Uhhhhh ahhhhhh

  (Chorus)
         G D7 Em
Well, I've been afraid of changin'
    Em C G Am7 D7
'Cause I built my life around you
       G D7
  But time makes you bolder
    Em Em
  Children get older
   C G Am7
  I'm getting older too
   G
  Well ...

  (Instrumental) C G Am7 G

                    C G Am7 G
                    C G Am7 D7

  (Repeat Chorus and Tabs)

      C G Am7 G

              C G Am7 G

way off, the song starts off G D/F# Em D/F# until they stop goin "oh ohhhhhh oh ohhhh" and then it changes to D A Bm Bm/A G D/F# Em A D A Bm Bm/A G D/F# Em D/F# and there is no capo. that's how i play it and it goes good with the song

scott, do you have hearing problems? listen to the music again.

Ray February 29, 2004, 19:34

I saw it played on tv "unplugged' and it's definitely nowhere near the 7th fret .

What's with the namecalling??

Good Singer October 21, 2004, 4:57

Nice effort but your a tiny bit wrong with the intro and there is no capo and Scott's my friend. leave him alone!

Robyn November 21, 2004, 17:21

Does anyone know the fingerpicking pattern that you hear at the beginning of the song?

Petermeister February 16, 2005, 3:47

I know what many people are saying about this tab, but this guy Scott did an excellent job of picking out the correct chords. Anyone who says otherwise is mistaken.
