Oh, and you come crash into me, yeah Baby, please come crash into me In a boy's dream In a boy's dream Oh, if I've gone overboard Then I'm begging you To forgive me Oh, in my haste When I'm holding you up girl, Close to me And you come crash into me, yeah Baby, and I come into you Oh, hike up your skirt a little more And show the world to me Yeah, hike up your skirt a little more And show your world to me In a boy's dream In a boy's dream I watch you there By the window And I stare at you You wear nothing, but you Wear it so well Tied up and twisted, The way I'd like to be For you, for me, come crash into me Aw yeah, come crash into me, baby Crash into me... Crash into me... You know, well, I'm the king of the castle, You're the dirty rascal, crash into me. Won't you come crash into me, baby... The way you do, the way you do... Oh yes, I see the waves Come and crash into me. Oh yes, I see the waves come and crash into me. Crash into me... Crash into me, baby...

the intro part is really hard if there is some easyer way let me know
alright, i agree, the intro's a bit tricky so try this instead...
E-0-0-0-0
B-0-0-0-0
G-x-x-x-x
D-2-2-2-2
A-4-0-2-x
E-x-x-x-0
...and so on (obviously the beat isn't there but you've got the idea right?) should make it a little easier while still playing all the notes :) peace kids
this song is amazing, tim reynolds is amazing. intro isn't too hard if ya use the right fingering, but it helps to have big hands. this tab is really good, and so is the song. peace out
Great tab, but if you play the intro through the whole song it sounds even better. Learn that cord in the intro, its a great stretch exercise and he uses it in alot of his songs for you dave fanatics out there like myself you know what im talking about
for anyone who wants to learn to play dave's tunes, the best would be to visit an excellent site with all his tabs, the vids of the guitar tricks etc. : www.dmbtabs.com
Hey man thanks so much for this tab... ive been looking for it for a while but to no avail... yours is the only one i could find the rest of the song for and it works well.... thanks so much for your help.
hey i was just going to say an easier way to play the beginning without losing the beat. first tune the g string down to e. then play what it says in the tab exept the last 3 strings open (the e,b, and the g string tuned to e) and mute the d. i know it sounds complicated but its just cause im not good at explaining.
try this:

ok stupid question but does anybody know how to play the a&w song haha if you do please email me thanks
it sounds better with the b string open in the intro not 5th fret
SAM IS RIGHT SO EVERYBODY LOOK AT HIS TAB....IM NOT SURE ABOUT THOSE CHORDS BUT THE TAB IS PERFECT....JUST THROW IN THE BASS LEAD ALL ON THE ----------
----------
------------[2]
---------- [quick chord]

the origional tab and sams tab are both right. if you listen very carefully to the song, you can hear dave double up on the e-note and the b-note in different places. my best advice is to change back and forth using the pinky finger on the 5th fret of the b-string, and then every once-and-awhile take it of and play the b-string open. i do this whenever my hand gets tired and i need to stop flexing it so much for a second or two. good tabs tho.
After reading your comments, I've just tried to play out the intro and... yes it is tricky and needs some practice. I'm on some other tune at the moment and I'm not going to tackle this one until I'm done with the first. I have good hope to manage it though and I DON'T HAVE BIG HANDS ! :)
Appart from that : this tune is a pure wonder heaven sent!
bye guys, play well !
Hi guys :)
I took a look at the tricky riff and it is tricky !
The trick in the song is to let the e string ring! I suggest to mute it first (it won't sound as good, of course) and to get a feel for the tune.
Once you groove it good enough let the e string ring progressively. It should become easier then.
The technical part is to rest the hand. To let the b string open or to mute the e string are good tricks for this.
But it sounds so much better as it is written on the tab! good job Jason!
hey, the beggining of the song is too hard the way you put it down, try this...
c# a b e g# a b e
E-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0
B-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0
G-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9
D-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9
A-0-0-0-7-0-0-0-7
E-9-x-7-0-4-5-7-0
listen to the song a little and it'll come to you, and you'll haave to stretch fingers some, alright then.
