well, I'm a drummer. I don't really play guitar.
I've sorta just tried to teach myself for a couple months now.
although, why would you care? sorry, anyways....
check out these tabs, see how close it is. its in standard tuning.
I tried to figure it out myself caues I don't care to retune my guitar to make it easier.
anyways if they're wrong (probably) email me and tell me so I can correct it.

Time signature: 8
.....So this is our....
e--3----------------3
b--3----------------3
g--0----------------0
d--0----------------0
a--2----------------3
E--2----------------3 (x4)
e--3--3--3--3
b--3--3--3--3
g--0--0--0--0
d--0--2--2--x
a--2--3--2--3
E--3--0--0--0 (how many ever times)
then the song goes on something like that. heck if I know. oh well...just to give yu an idea.
and no....I don't have the lyrics. I'm sure theres 4 billion sites that were started by
girls who love and adore Dashboard, that have allll the lyrics you'll need. and your smart,
you can peice two and two together with time signature, lyrics and tabs. hmmm, thats 3.
whatever...who cares. anyways good luck.

i was just wondering how the strum pattern went. i like this song alot. the tabs soudn like it kinda. but if you would add the strum patterns that would appreciated. thanks for the tabs bro. good job.
well, I duno how much you understand time signature or rhthyms. but its in 6/8. and the rhythem is (if you can sound this out in your head) 1 and a, 1 and a. its a tripolet feel, but if you seperate the tripolet into its feel, "tri-po-let." then its played on "tri" and on the -and- of "po" and "let." if I had a program that could right notes and actually trascribe thatd be easier, but as for now...I duno, email me if you need a better answer.
Hey, your tab has absolutely the right feel. The chord bases are right, but they're modified in the song. I'm trying to figure out the song, also, but there is dissonance. the first chord is a "c", but there is a "b" note in the chord, putting on the major 7th-half-step dissonance. I'm not exactly sure how the whole chord is set up and played, but that's a big part of it, there's my tip for the day
wait, scratch that last comment, you have the dissonance in there, my bad. I still think the chord is set up differently, but we'll figure it out, Yay.... sorry again
hey, i am trying to get the feel of this whole thing...if anyone has any spare time to teach a poor novice like me, please let me know...i have been praccticing this for like three weeks and it feels like i am going no where.
thanks
the reason it sounds modified is that the tunning is different. The real tunning is Db Ab Db Db Db Db... but i like to play it Db Ab Db Ab Db Db then the chords are 044000, 202000, 505000 for the verse 000000, 002000, 004000, 005000 | 554000, 550000, 554000, 555000 | 224222, 222222, 225222, 224222 | 554000, 550000, 554000, 555000 and then the ending goes... lead in 022000, 044000, 055000, 077000 | 00(12)000, 00(11)000, 009000, 004000 | x25000, x24000, x32000, x30000 and then repeat 050000, 070000, 090000, 0x9000 | x25000, x24000, x32000, x30000 then end on 000000
You'll figure it out after u listen to it and play with it a few times.
the tuning for this tab isnt right
the tuning is DADDDD...put ur guitar in this tuning and play around with it. The first chord is 044000. you can play around and figure out the rest. he uses this tuning on screaming infidelities too, its alot of fun to play around on this tuning and make your own stuff up thats really easy to play but also sounds really good!
knock urself out with this one, its a great song!
Shaun and Andrew are right, the tuning for this song is Open D5, down 1/2 step. Dmaj5 (x8), then E7 (x4) then G5 (x4)then repeat that 3 more times for the verse. For a drummer nice job!Playing it your way sounds a little bit like it but then the chorus goes: D5, Dsus2, D then Gmaj 7, G5, Gmaj7, G5, then goes on some more. But yeah nice job on the tab, keep tabbing.
