I agree with Andrew, their new cd sucks ass. They shouldve stuck with classical acoustic folk-emo.

ruined shmooined. I like the new electric sound and they can go far this way. You guys sound like you are worried they will become sell-outs. one guitar is cool sounding, but don't dis them because they are trying a different sound using more instruments...THE way MUSIC is meant to be played!

I have to say that though I don't like all the songs they play on electric, I must commend them for trying out something new. The whole point of making music is not to make music for popularity (aka sellouts) but to make music that you like playing and playing it for yourself. I think as muscians we should all recognize this. Please email me if you do not like my message.

you know it isnt very easy to have a kicken live show with a guy sitting on a stool with his Guild guitar. Those were the old days. The electic is cool because it makes the shows alot more lively.....and crowded!!!
I agree with Ed. The acoustic is better... but the electric sounds good too. The song is just awesome!

I think all this "theyre becoming sellouts" thing is a load of garbage, music is music. A band is a band. Theyre liked because theyre talented. Theyre doing it for themselves. Deal with it. Youre not the only person who is allowed to like Dashboard.

Hey chris carraba is a great musician his lyrics totaly rock the electric and acoustic both sound awesome so don't hate
to justin: the first chord in the outro should be a C#m not a C#5
to fliz: he actually plays the intro by playing the E then moving up to the A string to play the next notes, if you listen to it the low E is ringing out while he plays the rest of the riff
p.s. this song rocks out on both versions, how can you even choose between them which is better...props to chris for writing a kick ass song....ciao baby

Their new cd...well, not new, but their latest cd is awesome...if u don't like it, then oh well, don't dis them cuz they don't deserve that crap..DC is amazing and if you're a true DC fan, it wwouldn't matter to you if they play electric or acoustic, I, myself, am a guitarist..and I give them all the respect in the world for trying new things with their music!! Dashboard rocks!! it wass the first song my boyfriend and i listened to together, and it is what made us fall for eachother. Hands Down is the best song! the accoustic is awesome. it tells a story...

dashboard still equals good band, they haven't yet become sellouts, give them a while. my vote is for the acoustic. will someone tell me why the tuning is half step down in stead of just playing everything one fret lower?
When you use the song as playalong, then you'll recognize that your chords are totally wrong...
Try to play it in a way like this:
In the chorus you play:
Eb / G / Ab / G / B / H
And in the refrain play :
Eb / C / Ab / B (and if you want an H)
I haven't already tabbed the Intro, but I'll try to find out soon. You can use this tab as elektric and acoustic version!!!

Dashboard is good so you shouldn't care whether or not they go a little more electric if your a true fan, it's their album and they can do what they want with it. But if you think you can do better i'd like to see you try
DJ is right... All you ppl who are dissing Dashboard for experimenting w/ electric guitar and a new sound are fuckin stupid... its called free artistic expression... an artist can do whatever the hell they want and do what sounds good to them... they dont exist simply to please you...
