This Pattern remains the same throughout the song - verse and chorus. Just 
repeat it over and over again and throw in some alternations from time to 
time. Same chords transposed to lower frets will work as well but sound 
significantly less funky...

The song comes with a raggea feeling that shows in the strumming/picking 
pattern.
It's easy to experiment a little to find a good or even the right timing. 
Remeber the offbeat... ;)
