CRADLE OF FILTH - "Ebony Dressed For Sunset"

tabbed by Nijad (dime@go.com.jo)

This is one of the fastest and in my opinion, one of the best COF songs.
This first half of the song is basically comprised of a three chord
progression (figure 1). Keyboards usually play this progression but
of course varyingly. Many of these riffs are played by both guitars but
usually the two guitars play about an octave apart, sometimes even two.

Riff 1: Should be played by both guitars with sharp, heavy dist - x4.

 |---7-----------|-----6--------|------5----------|-----7-----------| --------8------------|
 |---5-----------|-----4--------|------3----------|-----5-----------| --------6------------|

Not sure if they should be played by constant fast picking
(tremolo picking or single chords because the dist.)

Riff 2: After the fourth time, guitar 2 switches and plays this riff - x4.
Guitar 1 plays riff 1 rapidly.

Riff 3a: This riff is basically the riff played by guitar 1 in riff 2, but
played rapidly and continuously (tremolo picking) on the A string only.
 Played by guitar 1 only.

Riff 3b: This riff is played by guitar 2, 1 time only, while guitar 1 plays
3a. The rhythm for this part is difficult to notate but easy to play.

Riff 4a: Played by guitar 1, just like in riff 2 (riff 1 tremolo)

Riff 4b: Not figured out yet (sorry)

Riff 5a: Played by guitar 1, like riff 2 (he plays guitar 2's part now,
 while guitar 2 goes higher) - x2

Riff 5b : Not completed yet

Riff x : These are the final chords of the song. They are played by both
guitars, but one guitar play "backwards" .. fucking around a bit.

This song is not complete (90% done though), so if you have anything to add,
please mail me. Any comments and criticisms are also welcome.

Guitar 1 must have a metal machine-gun right hand to play this song,
so suggest that the guitarists playing this song alternate parts in order
not to die mid-play!!
