Hello, I'm not sure who to send this too, but I have a correction.

Good job! But, you are right in you're suspician about that first
chord to the chorus section -- it should be a "C" and not an "Am".
Give it a try, you will like what you hear.

So, to the masters that be, here is the .tab file, exactly as I have
downloaded it, except for the appropriate Am to C chord changes:

Hey first i want to say good job on the tab. But there is a little mistake some of the words are not in there and the chord changes are off some of them if you listen to the song youll know when to change. And just a little suggestion if your playing this song by yourself. when he says i want to be someone to belive to belive to belive yeah if your playing this without a drummer strum G on all the belives it just gets the song going when your by yourself. other than that good job.

RYNOGOLF February 11, 2003, 3:58

Awesome tab but it sounds great even w/o jimbos optional comment. Great Song!

Nice tab mate... But its not just the first line of the Chorus that goes C,F,G, its actually the whole chorus that follows that progression. Only in the verse should you use an Am. Super try though, saved me some time!! Many thanks.

Luc April 27, 2003, 21:02

génial, vraiment bon de la pure guit thank you....

Carvaceous May 24, 2003, 21:12

Could someone help me out with the strum patter? I kinda have it but it's still not quite right.

Shaz June 30, 2003, 19:38

Great Tab! The chorus progression is C,F,G throughout though. I used to play Am but the C works best for the chorus.

The strumming pattern is quite easy to get if you listen to the song. The chorus again is much easier then the song. Try singing it and playing always helps me toget the strumming pattern.

Mr. Jones July 3, 2003, 6:30

Hey, could someone please post the strumming pattern. i can't quite figure it out either. your help would be appreciated.

rock on

kevin July 7, 2003, 23:50

hey man, the best way to figure out the strumming pattern is just to listen to it, it's the only way it'll make sense to you

JBplayer September 3, 2003, 21:38

Hey, great job first off. This song is awesome, and surprisingly CORRECT. I hope to see more work from you one some songs because you are about one of the few who actually get things right.
-Good Luck, and great job-
(i played the chorus with the AM and C, either one really works fine)

greenwheelfan September 24, 2003, 21:30

It's easy, just take it kinda slow and drum 2-3 downwards followed by one downwars up just before you switch chords or something like that, that's the basic of the song. It's not that way when you play G, but then you just have to play around a bit i think. and the chorus is kinda the same way..

greenwheelfan September 24, 2003, 21:31

I mean "followed by one upwards" of course..

nice tab keep it up (keep em coming)

and for those who have trubble with the strum patern (Stop Playing guitar) if you have feeling you dont need a pattern on paper; if you dont have the feeling just quit playing and buy a fluit or something :D

smkdpnw February 26, 2005, 17:06

i like cake to

Johnny9923 January 29, 2006, 18:39

actually for the chorus it is C,F,G the first line... then Am,F,G the second...then goes back at C,F,G and then Am,F,G .... im pretty sure it does sound better like that:)

Omega July 11, 2007, 1:56

I have some trouble with the strumming pattern too. For whoever said "quit playing guitar", I just started son... I really am not that tuned in yet. I think the verse is something like D.D.DU.U (I don't know how to write it, but that makes sense to me.)

I can't figure out how the chorus is different however... it sounds the same, but not.
