After being unable to find any mention of Classics IV on this site,I decided
to submit something representative of their work."Traces" is a well crafted
song, more sophisticated than rock of the time with a bachrachian sound.

                            Traces (B.Buie,J.R. Cobb,E.Gordy) transcribed by
J.J. Butler

Intro: The intro is built around a B minor barre chord at the 2nd fret with
the bass note descending while the rest of the fingering stays put but
becomes different chords. The bass goes from B to A to G# to G, the last
being a Gmaj7 that is then slid up to the 6th fret for the last section of
what is actually the chorus
    Bm Bm7/A G#m7b5 GMaj7 (slide up) BbMaj7 D#Maj7 Em7 Asus4 A

 D F#m7 Am7 B7
     Faded Photographs....

  tickets torn in half...

   Bm Bm7/A G#m7b5 GMaj7
Traces of love.....

                    BbMaj7 D#Maj7 Em7 Asus4

that didnt work out right.....

After the 2nd chorus thereis a bridge which leads the song to modulate
from D to D#

bridge: Bm F#m Bm F#m Bm F#m
