My favourite way to play this song is with a clean, acoustic
sounding effect for the first two verses, then a heavy
distortion for the chorus, followed by a real smooth lead
sound for the solo, using the neck pickup. The actual record
is obviously played on a steel-stringed acoustic.
I play all of the chords using either the A or E shapes,
I find these sound closer to the record than if you use the D
shape for the Db and Eb.

Can you transpose CHER'S 'Just Like Jesse James" for me so that it is not in flats? I would love to play this on my guitar, and sing it, but I am not very good with flats. Thanks,
Lisa
trnsposing is simple, just take the note of te key i which you want to play, for example A, count the steps between the current key note, G sharp, and apply the same number of step to the rest of the cords, using this you can play any song in any key, enjoy!
I would like to play this song
like Lisa, but transposing it
seems difficult as well.
What do you mean, count
the steps? Please
transpose in laymans
terms.
