Christmas Twin Falls, Idaho is her oldest memory
D(maj7) C#m D Dm
She was only two it was the first time she felt blue
Dmaj7 C#m F#m C#m/E
Cafeteria, Harrison Elementary
  D(maj7) C#m D Dm
Beneath a parachute I saw her without shoes
Dmaj7 C#m F#m C#m/E
7UP I touched her thumb and she knew it was me
  D(maj7) C#m D Dm
Although she couldn't see unless of course she peeked
Dmaj7 C#m F#m C#m/E
My mom's good she got me out of Twin Falls, Idaho
  D(maj7) C#m D Dm
Before I got too old you know how that goes
Dmaj7 C#m F#m C#m/E
That's where she still was the summer she turned 17
   D C#m D Dm
In 1983, two weeks after me
Dmaj7 C#m F#m C#m/E
Last I heard was she had twins or maybe it was three
  D(maj7) C#m D Dm
Although I've never seen but that don't bother me

i dont think that C#m/E is
right, sounds more like a
full out Emaj

jacob December 27, 2006, 21:22

theoretically, the compromise would
be an E6, which sounds good to me.
