                          THIS ROUTINE - Broadways
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

by: daniel (puttingthedamageon@nme.com)

i haven't done a tab in quite awhile, so forgive for the lack of exactitude. i
don't know what it is about the Broadways, they just keep pulling me back time
and time again.

intro:
e-|------------------3-------------3-----0-----|
B-|------------3-------3-------------3-----3---|
G-|-------0------0-------------0-------0-------|
D-|---------2--------------------0-------------|
A-|-0-2-3----------3-----3-2-------------------|
E-|--------------------------3-----------------|
repeat this C-G a couple times

then:
e-|---3-3-2-2---3-3-2-2---3-3-3-2---5-----3-----2-----3----2-------|
B-|---3-3-3-3---3-3-3-3---3-3-3-3-----3-----3-----3-----3----3---3-|
G-|---0---0-----0---0-----0-0-0-2-------2-----2-----2-----2----2---|
D-|---------------------2-------0----------------------------------|
A-|-2---------2---------3------------------------------------------|
E-|-0---------0----------------------------------------------------|
                                        you get the idea: Em7 - C - D

verse: (same progression for "half the world is now sleeping...")
Em7 - G - D - Csus2

pre-chorus:
Csus2 - G

"can someone" (chorus)
E5 (palm muted) C5 - D5 - E5 (p.m.) C - D

later on...
"so let's learn to be free"
G - D - Csus2

end on C

chords:
Em7 Csus2
-3- -3-
-3- -3-
-0- -0-
-2- -2-
-2- -3-
-0- -x-

i hope it's all understandable. the bass shifts to D's and other notes in
between during the intro. i probably forgot something, but hopefully not.
questions, broadways, lawrence arms, alk3 stuff, mail me
puttingthedamageon@nme.com

as an added bonus, here's the progression at the beginning of the l.a.'s "an
evening of extraordinary circumstance":
C# - B - A then when everyone comes in: C# - E - B -
