Hi Greg, here is one (I think the best one) of the many answers to my
COWPIE request. Thanks again!!!

Howdy,

I saw your query in COWPIE...

Of course it depends on what key you want to do the song in,
I do it in A so I get to use the open string and it's really
easy. If you do a different key we can work it out.

I use the open A and the E on the 2nd fret of the D string.
Then walk up one fret on the A string to Bb and still on the
E on the 4the string, and then end up one more fret higher
to be alternating on E and B.

Here's the tab:

   E |----------------------------------------------------------
   B |----------------------------------------------------------
   G |----------------------------------------------------------
   D |------2-------2--------2-------2--------2-------2------2--
   A |--0-------0----0-h-1-------1----1-h-2-------2------2------
   E |----------------------------------------------------------

Where the "h" indicates kinda of a hammer-on effect to get that
twang sound. I've also done it turning the tuning key but that's
harder to do cuz you have to start out in tune and de-tune. Then
getting back in tune is how they ended the song, just reversing
the process.

Give it a try and let me know....

Cheers,
...Bob
