No Rain - Blind Melon
Tabbed by Jim Huskey (mr_pink_42@hotmail.com)
here's what my tab means... pretty standard notation I
think but maybe not...
/ - slide up
\ - slide down
^ - bend up
~ - vibrato
I think thats all you use in this song. Its a really easy song when
you break it down. Its all in standard tuning with a lead electric and
a rhythm acoustic. I'm tabbing out the electric because that's much
more fun!
Intro (Clean tone)
E E E
-------------------------------------------------
--10--10/12--------10--10/12--------10--10/12----
-------------9~---------------9~--------------9~-
-------------------------------------------------

Then it goes to this... the bass kicks in here too.
E D E
--------------------I-------------
-----10-9-10--------I-------------
--9-----------11--9-I-7-9---7-9~--
--------------------I-------------
--------------------I-------------
--------------------I-------------
This part repeats 2 and a half times. It stops where its marked on
the tab and goes to this little fill.
--9-10-9------
---------10---

Then just repeat the riffs above until the solo. I'm too lazy to tab
the solo but it sounds like its just a bunch of short scalar runs
around the 12th and 15th frets.
you play the solo... then another chorus, then the solo again, and the
opening riff and fade out.
