                     While My Guitar Gently Weeps
                              (Updated)
As Performed by George Harrison on the Beatles Anthology Disc 3
                       Submitted by Tim Fischer

This is how I play it. Original version was written by Jimmy Brown.
Its played with an Acoustic Guitar with a capo at 5th fret.
Chord names at top describe fingering postitions. Be sure
to let notes ring. For the first chords mentioned in the
intro use your pinky on the B string. It makes it much easier.
If you need help listen to the recording, try to figure it out,
and if all else fails email me at tim@bbs-la.com.
I play it in this order.

Intro

perhaps one of the best acoustic guitar renditions I have ever heard. The genius of George Harrison radiates throughout this song and he was the greatest guitarist ever

Uncle Joe June 14, 2004, 14:12

Nah, man. I'm almost 100% sure George Harrrison wrote this, not Jimmy Brown
